Biennale de Paris from 11-21 September 2014 at Grand Palais
It could be said that the Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris is where the big jewellery houses go the whole 9 yards to showcase their finest pieces. This will most definitely be the highlight of the year as the bar has been raised by the previous 2 years, where the 2012 event consisted of 150 exhibitors which is nearly twice the amount of 86 in 2010.
Without surprise, Cartier has been a regular at the Biennale dating back to 1964 which is why they were given the biggest display stand measuring 250square metres. Other well known brands that regularly make an appearance at this even are the likes of Bvlgari, Boucheron, Harry Winston, Chanel, Piaget, Van Cleef & Arpels and Dior.
Just an example of one of Cartier’s exquisite pieces is the Solar Tiger Bracelet that consists of different shades of brown, orange and yellow diamonds, a remarkable and unique item that speaks for itself.
