A stunning opal, diamond and enamel locket pendant in yellow gold, circa 1880's. The pendant is set to the centre with a raised dome set with a single cabochon opal, with a halo of 24 rose cut diamonds totalling approximately 0.48ct. The pendant has filigree red and white enamel detailing and is complemented by a beaded outer edge, with a locket window encased to the reverse. The pendant measures 3.5cm in width and 5.5cm length, including the bale. The locket has a gross weight of 18.52 grams.
