A rare vintage Chanel black classic double flap handbag. The exterior of this medium classic is crafted in black caviar leather with exquisite 24k gold plated hardware. It features a front flap with signature CC turnlock closure, half moon back pocket, an adjustable interwoven chain link and black leather shoulder strap. The interior of this classic bag is lined in black leather with a "love letter" zipper compartment under the first flap. It is complete with an outer slit pocket under the second flap, and two open pockets separated by a lipstick compartment, in the interior compartment.
The handbag measures 10in L x 6in H x 2.8in D. The shoulder strap drop length is 16.5in (9 inches doubled).
The collection is 9 series - 2004-2005 production.
The handbag is pre-loved and shows minor wear to some of the metal but is in otherwise excellent condition. Comes complete with a Chanel box, Chanel dust bag and a certificate of authenticity from Entrupy dated March 2023.
