A rare vintage Chanel black classic double flap handbag. The exterior of this medium classic is crafted in black caviar leather with exquisite 24k gold plated hardware. It features a front flap with signature CC turnlock closure, half moon back pocket, an adjustable interwoven chain link and black leather shoulder strap. The interior of this classic bag is lined in black leather with a "love letter" zipper compartment under the first flap. It is complete with an outer slit pocket under the second flap, and two open pockets separated by a lipstick compartment, in the interior compartment.
The handbag measures 10in L x 6in H x 2.8in D. The shoulder strap drop length is 16.5in (9 inches doubled).
The collection is 8 series - 2003-2004 production.
The handbag is in excellent condition with minor wear to the inside of the bag. Comes complete with a Chanel dust bag and a certificate of authenticity from Entrupy dated November 2022.
