Fred Jewellery

The company Fred Paris was set up by the renowned Argentinian jewellery designer Fred Samuel, in 1936. Samuel spent most of his working life in the city of Paris. The colours and designs of his jewellery range were very much influenced by his South American upbringing and love of the sea. Pearls, diamonds and multi-coloured stones are incorporated in the Fred jewellery range. They highlight a love of colour, sunlight, elegance and charm. Samuel was commissioned to create pieces of jewellery for the world-famous actresses Grace Kelly and Marlene Dietrich. His jewellery was made even more famous by Julia Roberts when she wore a diamond and ruby necklace in the film Pretty Woman.
